The Henley Museum
at Molly's Speakeasy
The Midvaal Local Council approved and supported the relocation of the local Henley Museum from its former location at the Henley Library to a more accessible location. This initiative was spearheaded by Henley@♥, a non-profit group of local residents who take on numerous community projects such as street clean-ups, communal gardening maintenance, establishment of the Garden of Remembrance, planting of trees, community welfare, and decorating our quaint village of Henley-on-Klip.
With funding from both Midvaal Council and Henley@♥, a dedicated building was procured and erected at Molly’s Speakeasy Village Restaurant to accommodate the various exhibits and artifacts formerly displayed at the Henley library. Everyone agreed the museum needed it’s own, dedicated space.
We wish to thank the ladies and gentlemen of Henley@ ♥ and our Midvaal Local Municipality for their efforts in keeping Henley-on-Klip’s rich history alive.
